At major events and large-scale emergencies, St John Communications Team are crucial in providing support to our frontline crews.

The teams run the state-wide event management system and communication network to relay messages to our first aid crews and help them provide fast and efficient emergency responses.  We utilise the SA government radio network and St John VHF radios to deliver services across the state.

Logistics

The St John Logistics group provide essential support at events with roles including:

• maintenance of medical supplies throughout events
• warehouse and equipment management
• set up of marquees and structures for first aid posts at events
