St John is a self-funded not-for-profit organisation that has been caring for South Australians since 1885. We are proud that we are a volunteer organisation supported by the community.
We provide charitable and humanitarian services to individuals, groups and organisations and we raise our own funds to support the work we do. Our relief work for persons in sickness, distress, suffering or danger recognises no barrier of race, colour or creed.
Money raised through St John First Aid Training Courses and First Aid Kit sales goes to support the work of our volunteers. However, the financial support of our community also plays a large part in maintaining St John's services.

St John has an endorsement as a deductible gift recipient under Subdivision 30-BA of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997.
