The 2-day Mental Health First Aid course teaches adults (18 years and over) how to provide initial support to adults who are developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health issue or crisis until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves using a practical, evidence-based Action Plan.
This course is based on guidelines developed through the expert consensus of people with lived experience of mental health problems and professionals.

What certification do you get?
This is a non-accredited course. Upon successful completion a Certificate of Attendance will be issued, and participants are eligible to complete an online assessment to become an Accredited Mental Health First Aider through Mental Health First Aid Australia.
