ABOUT THIS COURSE

This 3-day course equips participants with the knowledge and skills to provide appropriate first aid for an injured/ill casualty when help is likely to be delayed or inaccessible. It covers the skills and knowledge to treat a range of injuries and illnesses, and also includes additional content with prolonged and self-care, preparing for evacuation and creating first aid contingency plans. It is suitable for individuals whose interests, activities or work take them to remote or isolated locations.

What certification do you get?
UNITS: HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation, HLTAID002 Provide basic emergency life support, HLTAID003 Provide first aid and HLTAID005 Provide first aid in remote situations.
