First Aid in Schools

St John SA first launched its First Aid in Schools (FAiS) program in 2013. To date, we have trained over 50,000 primary school children in crucial lifesaving skills. FAiS is available to school children from Reception through to Year 7.

Additional information about FAiS can be found in our 2018 School & Teacher First Aid Education and Compliance Guide on pages 10 and 11.

A qualified St John trainer will come to your school and deliver a first aid course tailored for kids: the duration is adjusted to suit your school's lesson times and the children's ages, ranging from 30 to 90 minutes.

The FAiS program is delivered free of charge to schools and students, and fully funded through sponsorship, donations and St John SA's commercial activity. If you would like to get your school involved and help raise funds, visit our dedicated website
