This First Aid for Mental Health (FAMH) course covers four main topics that will enable participants to confidently identify signs and symptoms of mental health problems in others and yourself.

The course covers the most common mental health problems including stress, anxiety, depression and suicidality. It is suitable for both people in the workplace and members of the public who want to learn how to help someone or themselves experiencing a mental health concern. Anyone who manages people or is responsible for a team should learn these essential skills. We also encourage organisations to train all their employees to learn how to support one another.

FAMH Terms and Conditions.

This basic emergency life support course will teach you the skills to manage emergency first aid situations, including managing the unconscious casualty, performing CPR, controlling bleeding, and managing other life-threatening and non-life-threatening situations. It is suitable for people in workplaces and members of the public who want to be able to manage an emergency first aid situation.

• HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation

• HLTAID010 Provide basic emergency life support

This course provides participants with the skills to manage common first aid situations that can arise in an electrical services industry environment, including rescue from low voltage panels. It is suitable for people employed as electricians and others employed in the electrical services industry.

Note: HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation is a pre-requisite for this course. This program allows individuals to complete this pre-requisite within the same booking. Competency update UETDRMP018 supersedes UETDRRF004.
